...Mission Trip...begins...

...everyone gathered early at the Church to pack the vans/trucks/trailer for Mission Trip...
...then a blessing and Communion...
...then they climbed into the vans...
...and van #1 pulled out...
...followed by one of our volunteers pulling the trailer...
...and another volunteer...called 'floaters'...because they will float between the two worksites helping out wherever they're needed...
...and then van #2 brought up the rear...

...18 volunteers head to North Carolina's Appalachian mountains to help ASP...'inspire hope and service through volunteer home repair in Central Appalachia.'

    Wonderful idea for service to those in need. I'm sure the students will learn a lot through the experience.
