...we headed over to the stadium...
...to watch the game...
...our seats were right next to the band...
...introducing the players...
...the mascot "Pistol Pete"...
...and in true Band-Mom fashion...I didn't take any photos of the team...but I have lots of pictures of the band...
...we were all impressed with the band...
~Have a lovely St. Valentine's Day!
good for you band-mom!! looks like fun. they certainly have a good-sized "pep band". wonder if all their marching band members participate? here at home, the NC State & UNC band members that attend the basketball games are a very limited sub-set of the marching band. i don't know exactly why that is, but i suspect it's because they want to sell all the seats for $$$ they can and don't want to let 300 marching band members into each home game!
ReplyDeletehave fun! love, k
Is that the team song? Here all the football teams have their own song from 'You'll Never Walk Alone' to 'I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles' but my favourite is French. RC Lens have a wonderful song which is also my mobile phone ring tone. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aJRK-PQvmqc
ReplyDeleteThis is the film where I first heard the song. This film is just so very funny and is now the biggest selling film in France. 'Bienvenue chez les Ch'tis'. When I was in a cafe in St Omer I actually heard a barmaid actually using Ch'tis! I have the DVD - with subtitles. Such a funny film, I love it.
