...Vegan Philly Cheesesteak...

...Scout wanted to make Philly Cheesesteak Sandwiches...
...so we started by pouring some boiling water over some of the beef flavored TVP Mom got for me at the SDA store...
...then we sauteed some onion...
...and some of the peppers that we had frozen earlier in the summer...
...put some Daiya Provolone Slices on some toasted buns...
...layered on the TVP chunks...
...added a layer of peppers and onions...
...spooned on a little bit of the soaking broth from the TVP chunks...
...and then sliced it in two...
...and enjoyed...

...so easy and so good...

  2. that looks really yummy!! i've not had good luck with the tvp chunks. maybe i don't let them soak long enough....i'll try it again and see.
