...I really am nearing the end...the first decrease is done...and I'm almost ready for the second decrease round...
...it's really a pretty thing...I love the yarn...and the colour...
...you can see that the decreases make a really subtle pattern at the neck...
...then in the snow...I was leaving the house via the back door...and I caught my fuzzy boot on the storm door...
...and it pulled the lowet button clean off...along with a little bit of the fuzz...
...and left a gaping hole in the boot...
...so I rummaged in the scrap box...and gathered some materials for fixing it...
...I cut a little square to patch the hole and to give me something to sew the button back onto...
...and stitched all around the and through the hole...
...so it was sturdy and tight...
...and snipped all around the square...
...and then I sewed the button securely back on...
...the thread's a little bit lighter...but at least there are three buttons...
