...Dinner and a Movie...

...we just got some vegetable soup out of the freezer and made cornbread and vegan grilled cheese sammies for a comforting and cozy dinner on trays in front of the TV...

...and the movie was Same Kind of Different as Me...it showed up in my Netflix queue...I guess based on previous movies I've watched...and I thought it looked good...as usual the best part was at the end where they give you an update on the lives of the 'real' people the story was about...and again...it was just a movie about some people...haha...

...what have you been watching lately?...

~Have a lovely weekend!

  1. Yeah, I like it when there's an "update" on the real folks too. The sitcom "The Goldbergs" is a cute one where they always do a little clip of the real 80's version of the story at the end.

  2. I read the wiki page on the movie. It sounds like a nice movie. I watched a paid for movie on my TV called "Cold Pursuit". It is quite violent but it was shot in BC and Alberta in Canada and it was interesting to see how they altered things digitally as it was supposed to represent Colorado.

    1. Hi Penny,
...yep Cold Pursuit sounds pretty violent...and stressful...it's always interesting to see that type of alteration...there were several movies filmed near my hometown in the mountains of North Carolina...and even when you know the location it's sometimes difficult to recognize...
