...11.4...Friday Favorites and a Not-So-Favorite...

...I'll start with the faves...

...these little seasonal pumpkins are accidentally vegan...sweet...

...I love to re-use glass jars for storing things...the gold lidded ones are all pickle jars...I especially like them because they have nice wide mouths and the lids have excellent seal/re-seal qualities...the taller one was an organic applesauce jar...and all of these hold a 1 lb. bag od nuts...and the skinny tall one is a kalamata olive jar...and it's the perfect size for a bag of brown sugar...

...I love herons...and just shore/water birds in general...and this guy let us get so close to him...

...now...on to the not so faves...on the same walk...we wind up picking up other people's trash all the time...

...why on earth do people think it's ok to just throw things down in the woods like this...

...oh well...I hope you have some nice (trash-free) fall walks...
