I really like this new Bamboo yarn - it's very soft and silky - this is the first time that I've used it. I'm using two strands held together.
...so I've started the Leyburn...
I'm just up to the heel...
I like the pattern - it was quite easy to memorize.

Very pretty pattern, looks soft too. You're do so many different things, I don't know how you find the time. E
ReplyDeleteOh these are gorgeous. I've always wanted to knit socks! Someday...
ReplyDeleteIt's funny how some patterns just take off and then it seems like everyone is knitting them. I don't know whether I'd bother with this pattern - I like mindless knitting on my socks and more complicated stuff on my other projects.
ReplyDeleteI love the pattern! That stitch is really beautiful.
ReplyDeletethose are pretty sockies!
ReplyDeleteNice pattern, looks like they will be really comfortable. Not too thick, but not too thin.
ReplyDeleteWow! Maybe one day I'll be able to knit patterns like that. Thanks for the inspiration!!!
ReplyDeleteNice sock:) but they look difficult to make. I am not a knitter or sewer as my mum is brilliant at both so I get her to do this stuff for me. I am thinking she is going to need to teach my daughter how to do both otherwise the skill will be lost in my family.
ReplyDeleteOh man! One of these days I'm going to have to get up the courage to knit some socks. That stitch is beautiful! Where did you find Aunt Lydia's bamboo yarn?
ReplyDeleteO' its beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHi Kristin,
ReplyDeleteI got the yarn at our local Wal-Mart of all places...
