Nickelodeon Universe

One of the strangest things about the Mall of America is that they have a good sized amusement park right in the middle called Nickelodeon Universe - so yet another full day was spent at the Mall of America - such fun - riding roller coasters and Scout's favorite the Super Shot - we laughed and screamed and laughed some more...
...they had a special feature (for an additional ticket price - ahem! - everything costs extra) to climb the ropes of the Flying Dutchman's Ghostly Gangplank
...so Scout got suited up...
...and started his climb - this is pretty scary for a Mama to watch...
...and according to Scout pretty scary up there too...
...but it didn't stop him from climbing all the way to the top of the 4 story structure...
...back on the ground - we waited about 20 minutes in line for this roller coaster - The Rock Bottom Plunge (the wait times were not bad at all)...
...we got strapped in and away we go...
...straight up...
...then straight down the other side -
I had timed the ride while we were waiting and it was only 59 seconds - what a rush...
...then we rode another much tamer roller coaster - this one goes around the entire park...
...guess who...
...we took a break and had a caricature drawn...
...Scout rode the Super Shot a few times by himself...
...then decided that it wasn't his favorite ride - this was - here he is asking for one more ride...
