Creamed Cucumbers with Mushrooms


Another one of Julia's recipes - this one was super easy - and quite good...

...still not sure I'm ever going to be a fan of cooked cucumbers...fun to try though...

Oh gosh, I can't quite get my head around cukes and mushrooms...does NOT sound even remotely like it would go down easy. Not at all.

My daughter refuses to eat mushrooms and green beans - the reason is that they 'squeak' between her teeth!
