I was so very resistant to getting any sort of gaming system...
...I didn't want it to take time away from ANYTHING - family time - school time - reading time - piano time - trumpet time - baseball time - swimming time - bike riding time - dog walking/playing time - ANYTHING...
...but you may remember how very much Scout loved the Wii at the Mall of America and that was almost a year go...
...you may also remember that Scout's birthday almost always falls in the middle of our family vacation...
...so we finally agreed to get a Wii - as a family gaming system...
...we'll all play it together - and hopefully have even more family time because of it...
...I think bowling is my favorite - wait - no - tennis...
...I'll have to take a picture of my Mii and introduce you to her...

Bowling is my Wii favorite, too! Enjoy...
ReplyDeleteI've never played anything on Wii. My brother has and say it's so fun that we should get one as a family (of adults) to play! :)
ReplyDeleteHope you guys have fun with it.
I felt the same way, but my friends are all commenting about how they are playing every evening with their kids.
ReplyDeleteSo Uncle Randy is giving the girls one for their birthday. Look at us getting all techie! I even have a REAL cell phone now...no antennae. Crazy!
Wii is all greek to me, lol. I hope you all enjoy your time together.

ReplyDeleteNot a bit like the heads down over a console for the next four hours!
You know I was resistant to the idea of a gaming system as well but Wii has been a great addition to our family time and in particular the Big Brain Academy game which fulfills some homeschooling duties!!
ReplyDeleteOwen balances his interest with Wii very well and still reads, plays outside, builds, etc.
How fun! We love playing with Nature Boy's nieces and nephews when they bring it to their gram's house. I'm sure as Wee One gets older he will want one too...and as far as any video games go, Wii has got to be the best, right? Oh I remember the joy of the Atari system that one Christmas myself--enjoy!
ReplyDeleteYes! My parents have one and we all play together, tons of fun!
