...the snowy day...

...Scout loved that book so much when he was little...

...this was the view right at dawn...Scout said he could tell by the blue light that there was snow...he had gone to bed hopeful that there would be snow in the middle of the night...

...and he was rewarded with a 2 hour school delay...this was the view about 9 AM before he caught the bus...

...it was such a fluffy, wet, sticky snow...

...coating everything...

...Jack was like...'Oh Yeah...I remember this stuff...'

...it really was lovely...

...still wondering what this tree is...with it's lovely pink buds...

...it's still cold (for here - it's in the 20s (minus 6 C)...but it's supposed to warm back up into the 60s tomorrow...pretty roller-coaster-y spring weather...

...do you have snow or spring?...

  2. We had snow this morning, but it's giving way to a more mild day today. I hope it's the last snow I'll see until next winter!

we still have snow on the ground, but we had sunshine and 40 today.

    your snow is beautiful!

and i know what scout means about just knowing that it had snowed when he woke - i love that feeling. everything looks and sounds different - even while one is still lying in bed.
