...Kitchen Update...New Floors...

...we got out all of the bits of flooring that we'd saved from our living room/dining room/hall...
...the new blue walls got a little scuffed up in the process...nothing that a little touch up paint won't fix though...

...and donchyajusluv that inlaid floor vent...so nice for vacuuming over...as it's completely level with the floor...
...and a day later the kitchen floor is done...

...still thinking about what to do with this corner...it needs a small table and chairs of course...and some sort of window treatment...

    LOVE that inlayed vent, such a beautiful (and functional detail). We have a little kitchen nook just like that in our kitchen. I put a little round table in and hung a few family mementos (like the dishpan belonging to future-hubby's grandma) on the wall and it's a perfect place to sit and catch the afternoon sun with a cup of tea or coffee around 3pm.
