...Gingerbread Houses...

...we switched up our usual Gingerbread House making tradition...using our Gingerbread House mold...click here to see a little Scout on the counter making his House...
...here...they have a different tradtion...
...everyone gathers at Church where there are pre-made Gingerbread Houses...bowls of candies...and bags of icing...
...about 70 kids aged 4-18...and several adults as well...
...Scout gets busy building his house...
...adding a chimney...
...adding some 'snow'...
...just some pics of some of the finished houses...
...they were all pretty amazing...and very individual...
...everyone had a lot of fun!
...Scout's finished Gingerbread House...

    What a super event. The houses look lovely and such fun to make.

    I can see the appeal of ready made building components!

    now that looks like a well managed craft room...bet the noise level was a lot of fun while those houses were being made.
