...Let's not do that again...

...I'm back...chock full of painkillers, decongestants, antibiotics and steroids...so yeah...let's not do that again...

...but I'm well on the mend now...quite able to sit up and 'talk' to y'all for a few minutes without a coughing attack...

...so...after my wasted week what do I have to share...not anything crafty-knitting-sewing-or even cooking related went on here this past week...mostly just a lot of moaning...and I've already shared that...

...but Mother's Day Sunday is always also Youth Sunday...so I have a few photos of that...and they're not even mine...but the kids did an AWESOME job with their skit...and what I wanted to show you the Man's costume...I don't have a good front-on shot of him as the 1970's Youth Pastor...but here are a few...
...when he first came in high-five-ing everyone...LOOK at the platform shoes...
...tie-dyed shirt and fringe vest...and a big wig...
...wrist bands...a Bible...and a wooden cross...
...and a backlit photo when he left that sort of shows my only contribution...the blue jeans with the bandana flare stitched in...everything else came from Amazon...and wasn't very expensive...the kids thought it was hilarious...they had not seen the costume until Sunday morning...

...the skit was about a new boy who comes into a lunch room packed with different groups of kids...jocks, snobs, partyers, freaks, loners (can you have a 'group' of 'loners'?) etc. ...and he approaches each group trying to fit in...but doesn't feel confortable or welcomed...that is...of course...until he comes upon the Youth Group...they invite him to come to youth group and welcome him in...youth group is of course led by the 1970's Youth Pastor...then all the other groups decide that they want to be part of youth group too...and they all live happily ever after...

...hope that made you smile...

~Have a lovely day!
