...Pan Makeover...

...this is my half sheet pan...it's just not looking all that shiny and clean...

...I use it a lot...for cookies...and tofu mostly...and then I usually just toss it in the dishwasher...and call it clean...

...but it just doesn't look all that clean...
...so I started scrubbing...
...and now it looks a lot better...

...I always think it's kinda funny when all of a sudden something like that starts bothering me...I mean...when I used this pan last week...it was only marginally cleaner looking...but it didn't bother me enough to scrub it until it shined...but today it did...

...do you do that too?...

...and today's nākd Bar flavor is...
...Ginger Bread...
...a few simple and tasty ingredients...
...157 calories...
...I was really looking forward to this bar too...Y'all know I love gingerbread...and this was really good...

...go to Natural Balance Foods for more info...

~Have a lovely day!

  1. I scrub a lot. They still don't come so clean. I especially scrub my roasting pan and after one use it looks the way it did before. I don't know if it is worth it to scrub and scrub. I guess that's why chefs pans on cooking shows usually look well used (at least European chefs) :-)

  2. Ian refuses to let me put frying pans in the dishwasher. If I sneak one in when he's not here and he uses it he knows.

I think because they get very hot and that does death to germs I am not so concerned about shine.

  3. I have a few of pans that could use a good scrubbing. It is usually in the spring that little things start to bother me and I get busy. All of my pans are copper bottom and they really do look so much better when they are shining.
I did check out Natural Balance Food and have plans to order a box of bars, they all sound so good.

  4. i need to do that!! did you just use a scrub pad? i think my pan is worse than yours....some of the edges are black. like you, i just wash and call it good - an pop it back in the oven to hide the nasty looking thing! i don't think mine would scrub that clean! we'll see!

    love, k
