...we were at a Holiday gathering last weekend (a week ago...)...and the hosts went to special trouble to provide vegan eats for me...which is always so...so nice...
...and it included this vegan dessert...
Peanut Banana swirled with fudge by Sorbabes...
...so this weekend...I was thinking about it...and thought I could do a pretty good job of recreating that ice cream...
...so I gathered a ripe banana...some cocoa, vanilla, and peanut butter...
...mashed up the banana...
...added some peanut butter...
...a splash of vanilla...
...and a spoonful of cocoa...
...gave it a stir...and popped it into the freezer...
...this is really...really good...
...I'm going to get out my
little penguin ice cream maker and make a whole batch...
