"What's Blooming"
...the plains coreopsis is blooming...
...so I brought a few of the cheerful sprigs inside...
...and since we're growing tomato TREES on our porch...we strung those up to the ceiling...
...and all of those little yellow tomato blossoms turn into these little clusters of the sweetest orange tomatoes ever...
...and all of the lilies along the sidewalk are blooming too...
...they are so pretty...
...a few closeups...
...these deep red ones are stunning...
...and the stripe-y orange ones...
...and these peachy ones with the fluted ruffly edge...
...solid bright orange...
...the pink rose bush is blooming for the second time this year...
...and everything is blooming in the white garden now too...
...donchyajusluv cone flowers with their prickly hairbrush centers...
...the white yarrow is blooming...but I don't really like the way it smells...
...the star jasmine still has a few blooms and I really do like the way it smells...
...the volunteer vincas are still pretty small...as they had to be transplanted from where they grew up on their own...
...and the white salvia is blooming too...
...we planted sunflowers at each corner post on the fenceline...
...and a purple coneflower with the same hairbrush center...
...lily of the nile...
...and the giant hibiscus beside the driveway...
...the sedum is not blooming...but it's still pretty...
...and even the rattlesnake beans have a pretty purple bloom...
...the blueberries are not blooming...but I'm still picking several handfuls each day...it take 4 or 5 days to have the four cups my cobbler recipe requires...
...and my overwintered hanging basket is still doing really well...the mandevilla is about to bloom...
...what's blooming where you are?...
~Wishing you a lovely start to your week!
