...I made a single muffin in the air fryer for breakfast...it's in one of those little silicone muffin cups...but it's not sturdy enough to hold it upright in a muffin shape and it kind of spread out...still good though...
...I mixed up another version of homemade 'Poppi'...this one is lemon/lime...
...absolutely normal shop...I did get a few things for a little neighborhood get-together we're hosting later this week...
...and a new Poppi that my be my new fave...cream soda...so good...I'll also be making a replica of this...
...then it was time to make another batch of sauerkraut...the cabbages were really small...
...chopped...
...and weighed...I'm trying to get close to 3 lbs. because that's what will fit in my 1/2 gallon jars...
...mixed in the salt...I wear gloves just to protect my hands...
...and packed in the 1/2 gallon jar...it will sit on the counter for 3 weeks now...the lid has a one way valve in it...and you use the little syringe to suck out the extra gas each morning...only for the first few days though...
...the only other food prep was to bake some tofu for the week...
...and you didn't really think that I was going to leave those edgings white on the inside did you?
...of course you didn't...but I didn't want to take them out of the ground so I pulled the mulch away and tucked a piece of cardboard behind to protect the grass and in front to protect the mulch and the lillies...
...and just worked my way around the 40 ft. section on edging...
...and I'm really so much happier with it now...I have another 40 foot section that is also white on the inside...but I'll just spread it out and spray paint the whole thing before I put it into the ground...
...we brought the chairs from the piazza down and gave them a good scrub...the porch floor is dry enough now to put them back...
...and then Sunday afternoon it was time to start trimming the bushes...now that the tea olive is finished blooming ...you can barely make out the Man in between the bushes...
...we got that side of the house done...
...and finally the little widget I had in the sidebar seems to have stopped working for some reason...so I just removed it...I got a notification from Blogger about a new Beta version...wondering if that had something to do with it...oh well...
