Early birds...

I think these geese may think that they returned a bit too early...

...or maybe Spring is just a bit too late...

...well - I hope they get the best nesting site for all their trouble...

i've often wondered what makes them capable of putting their feet into freezing water....if i did that, they would turn to ice and shatter!! tough birds!
