Centennial Camp - Fin...

...We woke to sunshine - at 6:00 AM Reveille...

...the boys got busy dismantling camp...

...rolling up damp tents....and packing everything away...

...a final walkthrough to make sure we left eveything better than we found it...

...and while we waited for inspection - there was a little bit of time for some tree climbing...

...then it was back to the Capitol lawn for Church...the band was called 'The Fire'...a Christian Rock Group...

...they had just gotten back from touring the Ukraine - and they had quite the show...here a man is breaking the world record for number of bricks broken - 21...

...he'll have to do it again for Guiness...

...they also tore phone books, bent screwdrivers and wrenches - and here - lifted 1000 lbs - it was amazing...

...then the scouts lined up and did a final walkthrough of the lawn...

...with so many scouts - I bet there wasn't a scrap of anything left on that lawn...

...we had such a good time - Life is so very good...

  1. There was I worried because there were no new posts - just the cucumber and mushrooms!

And, all the time you were off having a simply spiffy time with your son!

Good, I'm pleased you had such a grand day (or two) out!
