Isabeau progress...

...I'm a little over halfway through the front of the Isabeau purse...

...I wanted to show you the stitch detail with a close-up...but I don't know what's up with the funky colour in this one...the top photo is the real colour...

...mods so far:

...Cast on 48 stitches - I'm going to make the purse a little bit larger than the original...

...I'm using two strands of Caron Simply Soft in colourway Lavender Blue...for a nice thick and sturdy stitch...

...and I'm going to use the two little vinyl handles instead of a knitted one...

  1. That is a beautiful color! Would you mind telling how you attach the handles? Sewing is something I am just not good at, but I am improving with my knitting skills. I would love to make a purse!

  2. I love the colour as well - it will look wonderful with the skirt, as I remember it teams with the flowers.

  3. how pretty! yes, it is a pretty color. weird second shot - that color, if it were real, would match my tank top(s)!

    love, k

  4. That is such a pretty color. Your knitting is beautiful!

  5. Beautiful. I love the color!
