Isabeau progress...


...I'm a little over halfway through the front of the Isabeau purse...

...I wanted to show you the stitch detail with a close-up...but I don't know what's up with the funky colour in this one...the top photo is the real colour...

...mods so far:

...Cast on 48 stitches - I'm going to make the purse a little bit larger than the original...

...I'm using two strands of Caron Simply Soft in colourway Lavender Blue...for a nice thick and sturdy stitch...

...and I'm going to use the two little vinyl handles instead of a knitted one...

  1. That is a beautiful color! Would you mind telling how you attach the handles? Sewing is something I am just not good at, but I am improving with my knitting skills. I would love to make a purse!
