...a state of emergency...

...I should have mentioned on Saturday that those pancakes were cooked outside on the side burner of our grill...as we were without power...as was most of the state of West Virginia...

...we 'camped out' in the basement...the coolest part of the house Friday and Saturday night...

...we were very lucky as our power came back on yesterday about 2:30...making us very thankful for the air-conditioning...it's still very very hot here...highs have been over 100 degrees for days...this week it's supposed to cool down into the 90s...
