...6.29...Tuesdays with Julia...

...so after sissie left...I did make it back into the kitchen...and we made another of Julia's vegan quiches...
...and served it with lots of veggies...
...I had bought the endive specifically for this recipe...and I wasn't sure how it would be...because I don't usually think of endive as something you cook...it's more of a salad ingredient to me...but it was really delicious...

  1. I've never eaten cooked endive, that I'm aware of. Interesting! That looks like a swell spread. I love me a vegan quiche. This weekend we tried an America's Test Kitchen recipe for a vegan frittata. It was, as far as I can tell, quite similar to the quiches we make just without a crust.

      ...yeah...I thought cooked endive was kind of weird...but Julia has recipes for cooked cucumbers, lettuce, and celery...which are all kind of weird...I'll put that frittata recipe in my queue...thanks!
