Winter Scenery...

DON'T FORGET!! Enter the Valentines Day Giveaway!

...just some wintry scenes around the house...

...Remember Frosty...he's back on the door and stays there until the snow melts...usually toward the end of April...I'm still lovin' my blue front door too...

...sometimes...even when there's blue sky all around...we're still 'snowed in' because of drifting...our driveway is under there - that's the same location as the picture with the fenceposts in it...so until the Snowbusters come and plow us out...we're stuck at home...except for walking of course...we have snow shoes...

...That's Scout and I headed out for a walk with Jack...

...and another impressive drift...Scout loves playing on this one as it's steep enough to slide on...we're standing on the sidewalk leading to the Sacristy door behind us that the Snowbusters cleared with a front end loader...Jack is looking wistfully at the Sacristy door...don't ya think?...

Copious amounts of tea. Woolens. Quilts. Patches of color. The joys of winter. :)

  5. How beautiful all your snow looks. I had been hoping for just an inch, but I don't think that is going to happen. It was 72 here in the southern lowcountry today.

  6. Dogs, despite them constantly telling us they're rugged descendants from wolves, do love their creature comforts!

  8. You have a marvelous attitude about snow and winter - I'm so over it.

That said we are being blessed with nearly 50 degree temps today -
it will feel like Spring at least!

  12. Thanks for stopping by! That's funny about the boots/clogs. I love those boots. I'm digging your turquoise door and all your snow! We didn't get even enough "good snow" here to make a proper snowman. Take care!

  13. I love the second picture! And while I love piles and piles of snow - don't send any to me. My head and heart have moved on. :)
