...Mission Trip...picnic...

...there was a picnic for us to get together with all the families and celebrate a week of hard work and home improvement...

...and our crew was in charge of the setup...it was one of our 'duties' from the chore chart...

...so we gathered up all our supplies and headed to a local park...

...we were lucky and claimed a shelter...

...there was a nice brook right behind the shelter...

...and we'd gotten there in plenty of time for some exploring before the guests of honor arrived...

...so we all hiked up the trail...and found some interesting things...

...then we got cooking...the Man actually cooked all the burgers...these are veggie burgers...ASP is very vegan friendly...

...then the guests started arriving...over 100 people...

...by now the kids and their families knew each other pretty well...so they formed some teams and started some games...

...not exactly sure what this game is...but they played it earnestly for a long time...

...my vegan plate...the kids did a great job of cutting up all the fruit...

...and everyone sat down together for a wonderful meal...
