...for our anniversary dinner...the Man had put a couple of things on the grocery list...like the sun dried tomatoes...
...and I intended to take a bunch of photos of him making his 'secret' dish...
...but he pretty quickly shooed me out of the kitchen...
...but not before I spied the recipe he was working with...haha...
...so I went out to the garden and pulled up the very last of the spinach...all of these winter vegetables are getting leggy and flowering...I imagine the lettuce will be next and I really hate to see it go...
...but here's the finished dish...
...it looks delicious...
...served with rice and pita...and a salad of course...it definitely was the perfect anniversary dinner for me...I loved it...

...and I also wanted to show you the beautiful carrots from our garden too...did you know if you peel a purple carrot it's just like a regular orange carrot on the inside...
...so I didn't peel any of the other purple ones...just scrubbed them really well...

What’s cool about that dish is that I have every single ingredient at my house pretty much all the time. Love, K
