...the Man and I had a lunch date at Sub Station II...not sure if you have those where you live...they're not nearly as ubiquitous as Subway...but it was the first sub sandwich shop that we'd ever been to when we were at university all those years ago...and I'm so happy that it's still around...
...I got the veggie sub (of course) and they actually ask you if you want it 'vegan'...then they get a special knife and cutting board to cut up your veggies...you know so that it's not contaminated with anything else...love that...
...and I'm always thrilled when I spot a sort of mainstream item actually labeled 'vegan friendly'...this popcorn is really good...and not to spicy...

I ordered the vegan meal on our American Airlines flight because I couldn’t be sure what their regular offering would be. I forgot to snap a photo. But it was an odd rice/squash/spinach medley with turmeric. Interesting but not terrific. Love, K
