...5.17...Dinner and a Movie...

...first of all...Happy Birthday to my sweet Sissie...she's in England touring the UK right now...so it will be a little while until we can celebrate...you can check out her travels over at McCraw Sails

...I'm happy to be able to post comments again now...so you should be seeing them on your blogs and not have to come here to interact...YAY!

...on the reading front...I was a good 3/4 of the way through 100 Years of Solitude when I had to return it to the library because there's now a waiting list...and you can't renew a book if someone is waiting for it...oh well...I put myself on the waiting list and I'm #4...and it says < 10 weeks...so it may be a while before I get it back...
...the Man and I are both feeling a bit under the weather...
...so I'm making a really simple and comforting veggie rice dinner...
...seriously just rice cooked in the rice cooker with veggie bouillon...and microwaved frozen mixed veg...
...it was really good...just what we needed...

...and the movie was just the start of The Man Who Knew too Much...it's pretty good so far...it's Hitchcock...so a little bit suspenseful...

    I'm sorry you were feeling poorly but glad it didn't last too long. I also make our rice with mixed veggies and broth when I want a change from plain old rice. It's also a good way to eat a few more vegetables. Your library is like ours. I cannot renew a book for which there is a waiting list and so sometimes have to put myself back on the list. Hopefully you don't have to wait too long for your book.
