...Not Scout's...someone else's...but all of the scouts got to help...
...before the work began Scout did some tree-climbing......he's a pretty good tree climber...
...then once everyone got there - the wood was hauled out...
...The project is a gazebo at a local park - this is the foundation...
...ladders were climbed...
...boards were leveled - nails were pounded - and everyone had a lot of fun!

that's cool - i remember some of the boys' participation events also - a rough bridge out in the Jordan Lake park, refurbishing all the hydrants in town, a similar structure at one boy's church....then of course, we participated directly in robert's project - a 12' long trophy cabinet at the high school. it's all very good for them!
ReplyDeletehave fun and love, k
Awesome! Greg did picnic tables at his church. Eagle Scouts are the best. They can fix or make anything and they are kindest of gentlemen.
ReplyDeleteBest, Lori
He's taking after his mum. He is going to be a handy man and a MR Fix-it.
ReplyDeleteCan you send these boys around to me. I want a pergola built. :)
This is great! Also great to learn these skills, and having fun doing it!
