There has been so much harvest bounty this year...

...a super nice lady at church brought in a bunch of apples from her tree and when she realized that I didn't get any - she said she'd bring some over right after the game...

...so we peeled and sliced and had some family time in the kitchen...

...and made just about the prettiest pink apple jelly I've ever seen....

that is pretty... i like seeing the light come through the jars. i still have a bag of apples waiting in my fridge to be tended too... maybe some applesauce... and another apple crisp are in order. :)

ReplyDeleteI love the colour of apple jelly. I made some earlier and put a small amount of dried chillis in it. It is lovely, apple jelly is the base of much loveliness.
