...We bundled up and went out in the snow to harvest the last of the potatoes and turnips in the garden...

...we pulled up all the turnips...

...cut the greens off - not a lot of turnips - but a good few...

...and a whole 'mess of greens'...

...or so we thought with two sinks full of greens...

...but they cook down to about 1/10th of their original size - so we had one bowl full now and three quart bags in the freezer...
...There's nothing much better than greens fresh from the garden...
oh, i love potatoes and turnips that have been "almost" frozen. they turn nice and sweet.
