...I've never had truffles...but lots of Julia's recipes call for truffles so I thought I'd better go ahead and get some...and the organic olive oil is just because it's not available in the stores here...
...have you ever had truffles...what did you think?...

Love truffles! I use truffle oil mixed with lemon juice as a dressing for salad-Yum!

I had truffle oil, I thought it tasted and smelt 'musty'.
But then I'm a bit of a pleb when it comes to these things!
I would love to taste real truffles though.
I've always wanted to try them but found them a little intimidating!
Can you suggest a place to mail-order grains? I really want to buy some quinoa. However, the area I live in thinks Kashi is the only "health food" in the world (sigh).
