...7.13...Over the Weekend...

...we started the weekend with pancakes...

...and then headed out for the weekly shopping...

...just normal 'stuff'...happy that my soymilk was back in stock...and I got navy beans and marinara so that I can make Pizza Beans on the fly...haha...

...and this week's Poppi...strawberry lemon...I like the cherry lime one better...

...we've been getting some rain...afternoon thunderstorms mostly...but it waters the lawn...so I'm happy about it...I tried to capture the rain absolutely sheeting down the front windows...

...still getting a good harvest of green beans...

...and a sneaky zucchini got pretty large before I saw it...how does that happen...

...so I just cooked it with some onions into a kind of stew and ate the whole thing...

...I made another banana bread...

...and I finally got around to caulking the join between the counter and the backsplash on the bar...it's one of those little bitty jobs that just hangs around after a fairly major project...

...and Sunday afternoon we met some friends out of town...at a McAlister's Deli...I'd never been to one (it's a chain)...and they have lots of vegan options...I got a half loaded veggie potato and a half salad...apparently if you get the whole veggie potato it's actually two potatoes...haha...it was really good and we had a fun visit...
