...7.3...Friday Update...

...I promised a little update on the patch of weeds in our new grass plugs...the little patch of brown earth is from last weeks weeding...

...it's really really hot here...almost 100° F (38° C)...so I got an old sheet to sit on and I'm going to work for about an hour each morning in the shade...

...the St. Augustine grass plugs are spreading out and they look healthy...

...just continuing to pull up weeds...

...they pretty much stop once the sun starts shining on them...and the whole reason we planted the plugs here is because grass doesn't want to grow here in the shade...but the weeds sure do...haha...

...I'll have to keep monitoring the area for future weeds until the grass crowds them all out...
