...I wanted to have a dolly-sized pair of blue glasses to go with the little blue leopard print glasses from the wig-and-glasses playset...so I just found a pair of blue glasses online and drew some black spots on the image in MsPaint and printed those out on cardstock...
...for the lenses...I ironed my McAlister's Deli cup flat...
...and used an exacto knife to cut out the glasses frames...
...then I coloured the plastic blue with a sharpie...but it was way too dark...
...so I dabbed most of that off with an alcohol soaked cloth...just leaving a translucent blue film...
...then I traced the lenses and cut those out...
...then I coloured some plain cardstock and cut out another set of plain blue frames for the back...
...and glued the lenses between the printed frames and the other sheet of blue cardstock...
...and I sandwiched in bread ties for the hinges...
...made another plain blue back of cardstock for the side pieces...and glued those together sandwiching the bread ties in between...
...and we had a super cute little dolly sized pair of glasses...
...and they look so adorable on her...
...I have a couple more things I want to get in this July box with Our Airman's Jayne hat...
