We have a second set of Kildeer nesting in our yard. The Man-Cub says we built a boxing ring around them - It does sort of look like one...

We wanted to make sure that the sexton didn't mow over her nest by accident and then we had all those kids running around on the 4th...

She's pretty nervous - I think she's younger than Mrs. Kildeer and she's not nearly as used to us - Mrs. Kildeer hardly leaves her nest when we come near - but the new family is much more skittish - they leave the nest and feign injury before we get very near...
