...so full...

Right now our lives are so full and have to be lived moment by moment - as we try to savor every minute and watch our little boy become a big boy - on his way to becoming a young man - not trying to capture it or keep him from changing - but just treasuring the now...
We spent a lovely day at the lake with some friends - lots of them - they've adopted the Man-Cub as a 'cousin'.

Y'all know my penchant for paths - this is the path to the lake...

...then tearing off shirts and shoes and running into the water with his friends...
riding Big Mabel with his best buddy...
it was pretty breezy so there were some waves...
it was funny to watch their legs flying in the air as they tried to hold on...
as the daylight faded we fired off some more parachutes over the water...
alas... some of them were lost at sea...
then there were several tanks - this one is the Air Commando...
there's quite the little arsenal lined up waiting to have a go...
there was a lovely warm campfire - it was chilly...
as the sky darkened a bit more the fireworks began...
everyone will have a sore neck from standing in this position for too long...
but it was a spectacular display...
so many lovely memories of a perfect day...
