Crab-by

Remember the Crab Apples we picked in our back yard...

We washed them and sliced them in a pot...

The Man-Cub helped peel apples for apple butter - another post - soon...

...and we added those skins to the pot - probably didn't need to as I'm sure there was plenty of pectin already...

...then we hung the pulp from a cabinet door to cool and drain...

...the Man-Cub couldn't resist a taste - pretty sour I'm sure...

...but such lovely pink jelly - and not very much of it either...
