Of course we don't eat Eggo's here...
But the convenience of frozen waffles for school day breakfasts is undeniable...
So often after the Man-Cub is asleep, I'll make a batch of waffles and freeze them for breakfast time toasting...

I LOVE waffles! That is such a great idea, I might have to make a big batch and freeze them. I have a recipe from Veganomica for some chocolate brownie waffles too...there I go, always takin' it back to the chocolate! I made some microwave vegan fudge last night, the recipe for which I believe I swiped some time ago from your blog. Thanks for posting recipes, I am one well-fed vegan!
ReplyDeletehey, good idea about the waffles.
ReplyDeletethe hotel we were at in annapolis had a continental breakfast each morning and they had all the fixin's for waffles - you know, the batter in a jug and hot waffle irons just waiting for you. i just can't figure out how they get the waffle mix to stay fresh so long.....
love, k
Those waffles look good. So does the bread. Mine usually turns out well and is good the next day, but I'll try yours and see if it is better. E
ReplyDeleteThat is so genius! I don't have a waffle maker... so I go with the eggos! One day though... I'm going to get a waffle maker that makes them in heart shaped petals all around. I don't know if that's a good description. My mom and mormor had one of those... so I don't want to break with tradition. I hope you have a lovely Friday!
