It's diorama time!


Scout had to make a diorama for a book report - the book was Prairie Whispers

...so in typical Scout fashion - he got busy days in advance - he's not so much a last minute crafter - not that we know anyone who is...

...it really was a simple design - I loved his 'people'...

...he cut and pasted - taped and glued...

...he coloured everything with coloured pencils - and was amazed at how sharp they got with the sideways colouring he was doing - he even wrapped the outside of the shoebox...

...so cute the way he just pushes the tablecloth out of his way to do his homework...

...he said the man had to look 'cruel'...

...and the girl 'worried'...

...I love the attention to detail...

  6. You know, I don't think Owen has ever done a diorama. The idea really appeals to me, seeing Scout's great work :)
