...TO DO...

...so...last night as I was sitting in bed reading (with my hair down - hence the barrette on the nightstand)...I got to thinking about all I wanted to accomplish this weekend...

...now normally - I'm not a list maker - I just sort of go with the flow (story of my life really...) - and I don't get upset if things don't get done...but I was actually thinking about knitting the A-Line Cardigan - and the Easter deadline that goes with it...Oh!...and I've decided on a little purse pattern too...the Isabeau purse in lavender...What do you think?...

...so I tore the bottom off of a pattern I had printed out and sketched out a TO DO list for this weekend...

...and ya know what?...I ran out of room...there are actually more things I want/need to accomplish this weekend...not to mention general house-cleaning and laundry...

...so...are you a list maker?...or not?...

...I'll let you know how I progress with my list over the weekend...

  1. I love the pictures on your list.

I've always been a list maker but since I've been a PA making lists at work each day, I've not been very good at sticking to them at home. I'm hoping my new job will help change this.

Have a good weekend. I hope you get everything you want to done! x

  2. I am absolutely a list maker. I so love marking off things done...but in recent years it seems that life insists that I learn to go more "as we go".

Happy stitching this weekend. I have some lovely coral fibre & skinny needles sitting on my desk, taunting me.

  3. I'm a list maker and always have been. I make lists for everything:school work, cleaning, shopping, meals ect....I love seeing all the little check marks when I complete something. I have been trying to relax more and learn to go with the flow-we'll see. Have a wonderful weekend.
    Warmly,
    Tracey

  4. Wow, that is really some list! I don't normally make lists but when I start to feel like I'm losing it a bit (aka overwhelmed) I make them and they do help my scattered head a lot. I also think the little purse is adorable!!!

  5. I am a list maker when I want to make the most efficient use of my time. Otherwise I keep as much in my head as possible. Somehow I never get quite as much done without a list but I'm no longer needing to work to deadline most of the time.

When I was working full-time it really did help to make daily lists often and make sure I wasn't forgetting the different things that needed to be done at work or at home. I hope your list helps you. xx

  6. If I didn't make lists, I'd be a basket case. I always have more on my lists than I can get done, but am okay with that. I hope you get a chance to get a lot of yours done this weekend! :)

  7. You know I am a list maker from way back, probably 50 years. I'm surprised you did not inherit that. I'm sure you keep it all in your head. Hope you get it all done. MOM

  8. The purse is very cute - it will look splendid with the super top and cardi.

I make lists from time to time, if it is important to get things done, otherwise I rely on husband to keep lists!

  9. I am a HUGE list maker, not so much a list-doer. I try to relax when I can't get things done the way I would like.
It's so fun that you sketch your list.

  10. I am DEFINITELY a list maker. It doesn't always matter, sometimes I even lose the lists, but it's very comforting for me to create them and organize my thoughts.
