...LWR Quilt Goals...

...I've just gotten started on my Lutheran World Relief Quilts for this season...They ship overseas in May of 2012 - which may seem like a long way off...but I know from experience that it'll be here before I know it...and quite possibly before I'm ready...

...My personal goal, again this year, will be 12 quilts...I'd like to do more and if I am able to that will be a nice bonus...

...so to get started, I have cut and laid out a pink quilt from some of the fabulous cloth that Elizabeth sent...

...I barely had enough of the wallpaper striped cloth...this is all I had leftover and I had to piece together a few pieces...but I actually love it when that happens...the less waste the better if you ask me...

...I'll get this one stitched together soon...I'm also already working on Quilt #2...it's from the box of old clothes that Karen sent me...but most of the squares have to be pieced for it...so it's taking me a while just to get it laid out...but I'll show it to you as soon as I do...it's purple and black...sounds yucky...but it's not...
