Y'all were probably getting pretty tired of seeing these unfinished socks... ...they are the only knitting I took on vacation... ...and I'm thankful to finally have them finished...Pattern here:

hey - i'm having a bit of trouble getting online here on ocracoke - hope you have a great 4th. they're going to do a parade here today but no fireworks because of the tragedy here last year.

these are gorgeous socks! i've just learned to knit and what i want to make most are socks, but i'm pretty intimidated. maybe i'll work up to them?
