Movie Theatre Knitting...
...we went to see Megamind over the weekend...
...it was an awesome movie...so awesome in fact that I didn't even finish my dishcloth...
...not even half-way finished - so that means that it was really a good movie...
...so, do y'all knit in the movie theater - or I am the only weirdo doing that?...

I've only brought my knitting to the movies once, and I only ended up working through the credits. I think I need more light to work :)
ReplyDeleteOh good, glad you liked the movie - Owen is waiting to see it soon!!
ReplyDeleteI never have, but plan to the next time I go to a movie that I might not need to pay close attention to. I love knitting dish clothes and keep myself and the rest of my family stocked. Harriet
ReplyDeleteI knit while I'm waiting for the movie to start and then put it away during the previews. I loved Megamind! I love movies that get kids excited about science.
ReplyDeleteLOL, I never would think of knitting in a movie theatre. I don't think I'd be able to anyway as I'm still new to knitting and need to "see" what I'm doing.
ReplyDeleteOh, funny! That movie looks great. I take my knitting to church (I don't know why), to restaurants (again, who wants dirty knitting?), and to the park. I have been known to make tons of errors when knitting in the dark, and then I have to back up several rows. Teehee! I do love knitting during movie watching at home.
ReplyDeleteNo, I don't usually take my knitting to the movies, though there has been at least one time when we arrived so early that I wished I had it with me.
ReplyDeleteYep, I knit Everywhere...knitting is always with me and allows me to center and focus when life is handing out lemons or when making lemonade.
ReplyDeletei'm sorry to tell you but as far as I'm concerned, you're the only person who does that. i would never thought it was possible and i had never met anyone who would do it. but i must say... it's a great idea and i'm sure now that you planted that seed in my mind, i'll have to try it!
ReplyDeleteI can't even knit in the light--let alone in the darkness of a theater!
