...another Nerf remake...

This time it's not cosmetic...but electrical...

...Scout wanted to make one of his 'machine gun' Nerf guns more powerful...

...so after consulting with his former-engineer Papa...and doing a little research online...they diagrammed a way to increase the power...something about adding two 9 volt batteries in sync...

...the project involved soldering some wires...btw...how do you pronounce that word...we say 'sordering'...but I often heard it pronounced 'soddering' in NC...

...and some other intricate wiring work...

...and tucking wires neatly back in place...

...and then once they were back in place...

...then gluing them down...

...the two serial 9 volt batteries...when Scout turns this gun on now it sounds like a racecar starting up...

...I only wish I had done a before and after video so that you could hear the difference...the little foam bullets now shoot about 100 feet...amazing...
