...4.11...Tuesdays with Julia...

...for Easter dinner we had the Vegan Gigot à la Moutarde...
...and so we got out the good dishes...haha...these are actually the Liberty Blue dishes that Mom and Daddy got at the old 'A&P' grocery store...in the seventies...and we ate on these every day growing up...they weren't fancy dishes to us...but they have become very collectable...about the time the Man and I got married...Mom got a 'new' set of Corelle dishes...and she boxed all of the Liberty Blue up and gave it to me...and we inherited the Man's Mamaw's old China cabinet so we kept them in there...and occasionally we would aquire a new piece...Mom actually had a lot of the 'special' pieces...the butter dish and the gravy boat...but at some point the Man and Our Airman gave me the big soup tureen (photo of soup tureen here)...so I guess I'm still 'collecting' pieces...

...anywhooo...we had the Vegan Gigot à la Moutarde plain...with creamed corn...rolls...asparagus and sweet potato...it was a pretty delicious feast...
