My first coyote photo...
...as I was sipping my tea this morning and gazing out the window at the ever lightly falling snow I spied a coyote - we hear them yipping all the time - sometimes at night I wake up and listen to them...so eerie...
...anywhoo - I ran and grabbed my camera and tried to get a decent photo - but I only managed one before he disappeared into the brush...still...amazing...

How cool! When we first moved into our home we could hear them late at night too. That was four years ago and since then our neighborhood has developed quite a bit with lots of new construction. I guess it has scared them off into a different area. The sound was kind of eerie, but cool none the less.

We hear them sometimes but i have only seen one so far.
hey - yes, neat photo....they are actually a pest around here. the farmers hate them because they run and kill baby cows often.

All your winter photos are just beautiful - like a dream ( I think I say that all the time too, but it's true!). The snow just seems so surreal. We're off on a short holiday...but I know it's been too long since I said hi so wanted to catch up. See you again soon!
