Camp Wilderness Projects...

...I know I said I was going to work on my Scout Socks during camp last week...

...but as it was WAY TOO HOT to wear knee socks...mostly what I worked on were these cheery little flowers...

...and yes...I packed a bunch of little balls of yarn in colours that I like...yarn qualifies as a camp essential really...

...no real pattern and they're all a little bit different as I just finagled stitches to make a flower shape...

...I also made a bunch of leaves...

...one for each flower...but two for some...

...and attached them to the backs of the flowers...

...with a simple knot...

...then I made a chain with the leftover tails from the leaves as a stem...

...and chained the flowers together...

...and continued in that fashion...

...until all the flowers were chained together...

...three cute little flowers...

...these are for a special use...post later...so that space in between the two groups is for tying...

...you could also space these out more and make a pretty garland...or a little closer together and make a super cute scarf...

...here's the garland...pretty much as it will hang on the finished project...
