...YAY!...my Sissie's Package Came Back...and...Dinner and a Movie...

...I was so happy that the package FINALLY got returned to me...well...really just happy that it wasn't lost...the biggest loss would have been the birthday card that we've been sending back and forth to each other for 20+ years...but nice to have the other pressies back as well...

...the highlighted message says 'any mail piece that is over 1/2 inch thick and uses postage stamps'...who knew...?

...so of course I'll be going to the Post Office to re-mail the package with tracking...and I won't be mailing any other packages from home...
...I wasn't very hungry at dinnertime...because I had eaten the last piece of last week's huge pizzas for an afternoon snack...
...and the Man wanted Tater Tots with his sloppy joe...so I just cooked me some oven fries at the same time...Tater Tots are vegan...I just didn't want them...
...and then I just cooked a bag of california veg on the foreman grill...
...added some baked tofu to the bowl and a small bowl of sauerkraut...and that was plenty for dinner...

...and the movie was Everlasting Moments ...it was a subtitled Swedish film...it was a true story of Maria Larsson, a Swedish photographer...and her life and children and her abusive husband...so...it was a little bit hard to watch...

...what have you been watching lately?...

~Have a lovely weekend!

  2. Someone I followed on Instagram referred to a you tube video made by a young Chinese woman
Li Ziqi. I watched one and it is quite magical. She lives with her grandmother in the countryside, grows food and cooks. Ziqi makes things, all done with peasant technology. So far each episode has been around a food, potatoes, wheat and now peas. Highly recommended.

  3. thank goodness your package was back to you! I take everything to the post office with a tracking number (sometimes expensive when it goes to Canada) because things get LOST. I haven't had tater tots in a long long time!
